This web site has grown out of my interest in one of my family names: RICHFORD. Initially it started with my own ancestors who I've traced back to the late 1600's in London, England. With time I started to wonder whether all Richfords had a common ancestor(s), especially given the fact that Richford is not a common name.

From this point on, my goal (when time permits!!) is to collect and coordinate all references to the name Richford world-wide to see if there really is a common ancestor or ancestral location.
